Vision for Lahaina
Lokahi Lahaina is a commercial village that intentionally serves the people of Lahaina while also serving the many people of the world who visit and love this place. Lahaina has an incredible history that has spanned various historical eras. From the Ali'i and the Moku'ula as the capital of the Kingdom, to the plantation era, whaling, fishing, front street lights and much more. After we tragically lost nearly our entire town in the 2023 fires, we have become determined to not only see Lahaina rebuilt, but to enter its greatest era yet, at least in modern history.
We believe the only way this will be achieved is by doing it together. We imua as a community, as one Ohana. We are prioritizing balance, harmony (Lokahi). The three lokahi triangles represent the balance, unity and harmony of ke akua, kanaka, and aina. We believe that this concept of stewardship of the land and of our local people, all with greater purpose in mind is truly the path forward as a community. It's bigger than any one of us alone. Sometimes the greatest moments of clarity for the future come when we kilo and look to the past, to our kapuna, and realize that often it is they that hold the wisdom that we so desperately need today. As we do our collective best to rebuild our beloved Lahaina, let us never forget that we are stronger together.

Grocery
West Maui's only Health Food Store. Proudly supporting diverse local farmers and serving the physical needs of our community through access to local, healthy and high-quality foods. We aim to avoid GMO's, toxic pesticides, and embrace real delicious foods that come from nature, not labs.
Office
Flexible office environment fostering creativity, wellness, and aloha. Spaces are limited and businesses are carefully curated to create a cohesive whole.
Industrial
Home to the makers, creators, and fighters. Very limited supply of flexible units with diverse but complimentary locally owned businesses.
Community Center
A space geared toward faith-based, youth, cultural and local community events that have a positive and meaningful impact on the community. Think youth mentoring programs, multi-church worship nights, community dinner gatherings, local art shows, cultural education workshops, music and more. It's the Kingdom of Heaven in the Kingdom of Hawaii.
Sustainability
Promoting eco-friendly practices throughout development and in ongoing operations. Self sustaining, solar energy powered. Creative and long-term water conservation practices via drought tolerant landscaping and more. Supporting local non-profits that seek to malama our aina through reforestation efforts, coastline protection and more.
Community
It is important to us to not only provide spaces for daily community connection through commerce and food but also to facilitate events that build connection and unity in our community. These vary between events hosted by Lokahi Lahaina and events hosted by our partners and tenants. All exist for the benefit of West Maui in one way our another!
