Vision for Lahaina
Lokahi Lahaina is a commercial village that intentionally serves the people of Lahaina while also serving the many people of the world who visit and love this place. Lahaina has an incredible history that has spanned various historical eras. From the Ali'i and the Moku'ula as the capital of the Kingdom, to the plantation era, whaling, fishing, front street lights, snow for the keiki around Christmas and more. After we tragically lost nearly our entire town in the 2023 fires, we have become determined to see Lahaina not only rebuilt, but enter its greatest era yet, at least in modern history.

We believe the only way this will be achieved is by doing it together. We imua as a community, as one Ohana. We are prioritizing balance, harmony (Lokahi). The three lokahi triangles represent the balance, unity and harmony of ke akua, kanaka, and aina. We believe that this concept of stewardship of the land and of our local people, all with greater purpose in mind is truly the path forward as a community. It's bigger than any one of us alone. Sometimes the greatest moments of clarity for the future come when we kilo and look to the past, to our kapuna, and realize that often it is they that hold the wisdom that we so desperately need today. As we do our collective best to rebuild our beloved Lahaina, let us never forget who we truly are and where we come from.

Grocery
West Maui's only Health Food Store. Proudly supporting diverse local farmers and serving the physical needs of our community through access to local, healthy and high-quality foods. We aim to avoid GMO's, toxic pesticides, and more. It is clear that natural foods are scientifically proven to give us longer and happier lives and we want to offer that to our community.
Office
Flexible office environment fostering creativity, wellness, and aloha. Spaces are limited and businesses are carefully curated.
Industrial
Home to makers and creators. Very limited supply of flexible units with diverse but complimentary locally owned businesses.
Kingdom Community Center
A space geared toward faith-based community as well as other events that have positive and meaningful impact on the community. Think youth mentoring programs, multi-church worship nights, community dinner gatherings, local art shows and more. It's the Kingdom of Heaven in the Kingdom of Hawaii.
Sustainability
Promoting eco-friendly practices throughout development and in future operations. Self sustaining, solar energy powered. Creative and long term water conservation practices. Supporting local non-profits that seek to malama our aina in various ways.
Community
Events that build connection and unity in our community. These vary between events hosted by Lokahi Lahaina and events hosted by our partners. All exist for the benefit of West Maui.
